(Hot Springs Village, Ark.) – “In Christ’s Love, Everyone Is Someone” is a wonderful motto for Good Samaritan Society – Hot Springs Village, a faith-based retirement and long-term care community here in Hot Springs Village, Ark. While living up to this motto could be a daunting task, Good Sam has no problem in doing so.

In 2009, Doug Beed and Barb Henry’s mother, Marj Beed, moved into Cedar Lodge on the Good Samaritan Society campus. Cedar Lodge is a senior living apartment complex that provides residents with a safe and clean residence filled with a caring staff and warm residents. It was here that we first started to become aware of all of the individual acts of kindness and respect from staff members. As time went by, we clearly realized that this attitude was consistent across the entire Good Samaritan staff. Marj spent many wonderful months enjoying social activities, dining, trips, transportation and many other Cedar Lodge events, all under the watchful eye of the skilled and caring staff. As Marj was preparing to move out of Cedar Lodge, she told us, “This is the best place I have ever lived.”
